Context and Justification

The digital transformation that Africa is witnessing inevitably demonstrates the interest in considering the digital sector as one of the essential levers of socio-economic development and structural transformation of countries. IT can be a springboard for the socio-economic development of Burkina Faso like countries like Kenya, Ethiopia or Rwanda. In this regard, quality training and research in IT are essential to have African expertise in the field and able to provide innovative solutions to the major growth and development concerns of different countries. One of the main concerns of the conference is to reflect on the contribution of IT to the endogenous development of African countries.
